Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a five year degree course aiming at producing graduates in the branch of Ayurveda having basic knowledge of Ayurveda with scientific specifications in accordance with Ayurvedic fundamentals. The students go through extensive practical training to become efficient consultants, teachers and Research workers, in different fields and branches of Ayurveda to serve productively in the medical and health services of the country.
A candidate must fulfill the following conditions for admission. He/ she should have passed in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at 10+2 or any equivalent examination recognized by concerned state Govt./ Education Board, securing a minimum of 50% marks.
The students get a hand on experience of dealing with patients and well equipped labs. They get a practical knowledge of the various processes involved in the field of Ayurveda. The institute has its very own herbal garden.
